Information collected when you use the website
Our web server and security or delivery providers may automatically receive limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, requested URL, date and time, and security events. We use this information to deliver the site, diagnose faults, maintain security, and understand basic service performance.
When you submit a quote form, the information you provide is stored in the Loongle website database so our authorized team can review and respond to the request. The record may include your contact details, shipment requirements, the page and inquiry button that led to the form, and the submission time. The search and category filters on our downloads page run in your browser and are not submitted to us.
3. How and why we use information
We process personal information only where we have an appropriate basis under applicable law. Depending on the context, we use it to:
- respond to your inquiry, assess feasibility, calculate or obtain rates, prepare a quotation, and take steps requested before entering a contract;
- create, perform, administer, and support a freight forwarding or logistics relationship with you or your organization;
- coordinate shipping lines, airlines, rail or road carriers, warehouses, customs brokers, insurers, overseas agents, and delivery partners;
- prepare transport, customs, insurance, billing, compliance, and operational records;
- comply with customs, trade, sanctions, tax, accounting, recordkeeping, law-enforcement, and other legal obligations;
- protect cargo, people, systems, and business operations; prevent fraud and misuse; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
- operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website and our customer service; and
- send service-related messages and, where permitted by law or with your consent, information about closely related Loongle services. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
These activities may rely on your consent, steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal duties, or our legitimate business interests where recognized by applicable law. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.
4. How we share information
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Recipients may include:
- authorized Loongle personnel and professional advisors who need the information for their work;
- shipping lines, airlines, rail and road carriers, consolidators, ports, terminals, warehouses, customs brokers, insurers, surveyors, overseas agents, and pickup or delivery providers involved in pricing or performing a requested service;

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. International data transfers
Loongle is based in China and coordinates international shipments. Your information may therefore be processed in China and in the countries or regions connected with the requested origin, destination, transit route, carrier, or agent. Those locations may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.
Where applicable law requires additional steps for a cross-border transfer, we will use an appropriate legal basis and safeguards, such as required notices or consent, contractual protections, security measures, or another legally recognized transfer mechanism. Shipment documents may also need to be provided to foreign authorities and logistics participants to perform the service or comply with law.
6. Cookies and third-party resources
The current public website does not use advertising pixels or behavioral analytics tools, and we do not intentionally set non-essential advertising or analytics cookies. Strictly necessary browser, server, security, or delivery technologies may still be used to provide the site.
The fonts, icons, images, stylesheets, scripts, and downloadable resources used by the current public website are served from Loongle-controlled website hosting rather than requested from Google Fonts or cdnjs. Our hosting, security, and delivery providers may process limited technical request information as described in Section 2 when they deliver these resources.
Links to Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and other external services do not activate an embedded social feed on our site. If you select a link or use a messaging service, the external provider will process your information under its own terms and privacy policy. If we later introduce non-essential cookies or tracking, we will update this notice and provide any consent choices required by law.
7. Retention and security
Website quote and contact inquiries that do not lead to a customer relationship or shipment are normally kept for no more than 24 months after our last substantive contact with you. We may keep an inquiry for a shorter period when appropriate or for longer where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, maintain security, resolve a complaint or dispute, establish or defend a legal claim, or comply with law.
If an inquiry leads to a quotation, contract, booking, shipment, payment, insurance matter, customs filing, or continuing business relationship, the relevant records become business and transaction records. We retain those records for the period required by applicable transport, customs, trade, tax, accounting, insurance, sanctions, limitation, and other legal or contractual requirements. We review retained website inquiry records periodically and delete, anonymize, or securely restrict them when the applicable period ends and no exception remains.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet transmission, email system, or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary email or messaging services.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to:
- know whether and how we process your personal information;
- access or receive a copy of your information;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion or restriction of processing;
- object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
- request data portability where applicable; and
- complain to a competent privacy or data protection authority.
To make a request, email sales@loongle.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. Tell us the nature of your request and the contact channel or interaction concerned. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity and protect against fraudulent requests. Rights may be subject to legal exceptions, including records we must retain for a contract, shipment, legal claim, or regulatory obligation.
California privacy notice
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to our processing, California residents may request access to categories or specific pieces of personal information, correction, deletion, and information about sources, purposes, and recipient categories. They may also exercise any applicable right to limit sensitive personal information and may not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Requests may be sent using the contact method above.
9. Children and third-party sites
This is a business-to-business freight and logistics website and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
Our website includes links to third-party websites and communications platforms. Current downloadable resources are served from Loongle-controlled website hosting. We do not control the security, availability, content, or privacy practices of external websites or communications services. Review the relevant third party's privacy information before providing personal data.
10. Updates and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, website features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide any additional notice or choice required by applicable law.
